Description

• Deflazacort

1. Well-tolerated corticosteroid that maintains adequate control of steroid-requiring dermatoses, with potentially fewer adverse effects compared to Prednisolone.
2. 6mg of Deflazacort has approximately the same anti-inflammatory potency as 5mg of Prednisolone.
3. The overall incidence of adverse events in Deflazacort recipients is 16.5%, which is lower than with Prednisone (20.5%) or Methylprednisolone (32.7%).

2. Pemphigus Vulgaris
3. Allergic Skin Reactions
4. Psoriasis
5. Eczema
